Wesley D. Fina

Wesley D. Fina is the founder of The Fina Law Firm, P.A. Prior to starting The Fina Law Firm, he worked for Schutt, Schmidt, and Noey, a civil litigation firm, handling a wide variety of civil matters and taking several cases to trial.  Mr. Fina received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law in May 2012 where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and received several Book Awards for earning the highest grade in his courses. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the Florida State University College of Business in 2009.

Mr. Fina is a native Floridian, having grown up in North Florida. Mr. Fina is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Florida and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Fina handles a wide variety of civil legal matters throughout the state of Florida, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, commercial liability litigation, construction defect litigation, products liability, contract disputes, and insurance coverage disputes.

When not practicing law, Mr. Fina spends his time with his wife and two black labradors, working on cars, and cheering for the Noles.

R. Daniel Noey

R. Daniel Noey is an attorney at The Fina Law Firm, P.A. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He then obtained his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University in 1982.

After graduation from law school, Mr. Noey served on active duty in the United States Navy from 1982 through 1989 as a member of the Judge Advocate General Corps. After leaving active duty, he continued in the United States Navy Reserve and ultimately earned his retirement from the Navy, retiring at the rank of Commander.

Mr. Noey joined the law firm of Coker, Myers, Schickel, Cooper & Sorenson in 1989 and became a partner in that firm in 1993. In 2001, he left that firm to start the firm of Dore, Lanier, Noey & Fannin. In June of 2005, he became a partner at Schutt, Schmidt & Noey and practiced there until joining The Fina Law Firm, P.A. 

Mr. Noey is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U. S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Noey is also a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.

Mr. Noey’s work centers around civil trial litigation. His main areas of concentration include personal injury, wrongful death, insurance law and coverage issues, products liability, construction litigation, motor vehicle liability, and premises liability.

Lisa Cockman

Lisa Cockman graduated from Webster College in New Port Richey, Florida in 1990 with a Paralegal Diploma. Following graduation, she worked at various law firms in Florida, Virginia, and Connecticut before moving to Jacksonville. 

In 1999, she was hired by Dan Noey as a Paralegal with Coker Law.  Lisa worked for Mr. Noey at Coker Law; Dore, Lanier & Noey; Schutt, Schmidt & Noey; and now with The Fina Law Firm.  She has worked for Mr. Noey for 21 years and for Mr. Fina for 11 years. 

Her favorite part of her job is being able to develop relationships with the clients, and she always strives to provide excellent service. 

Lisa is a proud mother of 2 daughters and spends her free time with her girls, 3 dogs and 3 cats.
